Registration is open to participate in the^4th Sustainable Food Meetings which will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris and by videoconference. In a context of major crises – health, environmental, social, energy, geopolitical – which tend to multiply and last, what cooperation and actions can we think of in the service of the transformation of our agricultural and food systems? During this day, which brings together food stakeholders from all walks of life, we want to encourage exchanges, share our common ambitions and fuel transformations.

Sharing our ambitions, nurturing transformations

The polycrises we are going through confront us with major challenges and sometimes lead to short-term responses, at the expense of systemic dynamics, on which the necessary transformation of our agricultural and food models is based. However, they also bring new opportunities.

For this 4th edition of the Conference, the time has come to encourage interactions between the issues of agroecology, food democracy and territories and thus decompartmentalize approaches and practices to promote a systemic vision of food, equal to the challenges we have to face, and which concern even more generations to come.

Since 2016, the Sustainable Food Meetings have been a real highlight for sharing needs and solutions, strengthening synergies beyond one-off cooperation, but also beyond the silos of sectors, statutes or themes.

Our Foundation’s ambition is to make in-depth changes to agricultural and food systems so that they become ecological, solidarity-based, equitable and the subject of democratic debate. As in every edition, we will ensure a balanced representation of the actors so that these Meetings are synonymous with synergies and fertile connections. We will get back to you in the coming weeks with more information on the program of this day.
