How we organise ourselves
Our binational identity pays tribute to the Franco-Spanish origin of the Carasso family, shaping our decision-making processes and work ethos. We operate with shared goals in Spain and France to promote sustainable food practices and socially engaged art, while respecting the unique features of each region. Continuous exchange between teams promotes shared learning and constructive cultural dialogue.
Governance and functions
The board of directors comprises members of the founding family and independent professionals from the business and public administration sectors. It meets four times a year. A delegated committee oversees the implementation of agreements and good management.
The operational structure is organised in three directions: two in Spain and one in France. This model distributes responsibilities and strengthens controls. It also helps decisions to be made based on public interest and close proximity to the organisations and territories involved.
Diverse and expert perspective
The Board of Directors has surrounded itself with committees bringing together qualified personalities from the world of research, foresight, business, the public sector or civil society, from the fields of agriculture, food, culture, art, education, the social and health field and investment.
Exercising their function in a personal capacity, these experts support the Foundation’s governance on the financial and strategic aspects.
