The Philharmonicoeur Orchestra is a community-oriented symphony ensemble founded by conductor Nicolas Simon, bringing together amateur musicians, students, and non-permanent professionals for intensive workshops.
Organized as short residencies, these sessions allow participants to collectively perform a work from the classical repertoire, while also engaging in outreach and community outreach activities with audiences supported by social, charitable, or medical-social organizations.
The model also relies on the musicians’ commitment to solidarity; they donate their fees, which are then redistributed to partner organizations, thereby helping to support initiatives that serve the public good.
