2024 New Year’s Greetings: Bringing about desirable futures

Dear friends, dear partners of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation,

The dawn of this new year is first and foremost an opportunity to celebrate our shared achievements. Together, we have continued to put into action new ideas that are positively transforming our society. For example, by the fight against isolation and precariousness through food and cultural democracy, by investing in companies that contribute through their virtuous and daring models to making food systems more sustainable, by developing new forms of alliances between the arts and sciences or by creating an artist residency program on the ecological transition.

At a time when, more than ever, our social cohesion is being put to the test, let’s strengthen our ties, share our knowledge and join forces to meet the challenges ahead!

In 2024, let’s continue to inspire change through our actions. Together, let’s work for a more peaceful and equitable world, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the collective well-being.

With my counterparts in Spain Lucía Casani and Francesco Cingolani and of course with the Foundation’s teams, who are mobilized on a daily basis, we will continue to make the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation a catalyst for innovative initiatives that sustainably shape the future of food systems and promote art as a real lever for citizen emancipation. We will ensure that we embody, again and again, through our mission, the values that have driven Daniel and Nina Carasso throughout their lives.
