Registration is open to participate in the 5th Sustainable Food Meetings, which will be held on September 16 at the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (14th) and by videoconference. In the face of multiple crises – climate, social, economic and geopolitical – which are intensifying and long-lasting, it is essential to strengthen alliances and mobilizations to continue to advance sustainable food. This day will bring together committed actors from various backgrounds to inspire each other and promote exchanges, cooperate around common ambitions and amplify the dynamics of change.

Inspire, cooperate, amplify

Since 2016, the Sustainable Food Meetings have brought together, every 2 years at the initiative of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, actors who act in favor of sustainable food systems. Designed as a space for discussion to promote the sharing of experiences and collaborations, they aim to strengthen actions and cooperation in order to accelerate transformations towards ecological, solidarity-based, equitable food systems that are the subject of democratic debate.

What alliances and mobilizations can be used to involve more widely and give new impetus to our actions in favor of sustainable food? In a context marked by polarization and the absence of policies that are equal to the social, economic and environmental challenges, but strengthened by our progress and convictions, we invite you, during this day resolutely focused on exchange, to question our capacity for mobilization, but also for rebound.

For this 5th edition of the Sustainable Food Encounters, citizens, entrepreneurs, researchers, fishermen, farmers, restaurateurs and artists will question and share the levers that we can mobilize together to give momentum to our actions.

This year, we are highlighting topics and initiatives that show the need to go beyond silos and the interest of cooperation, for example with global health, fisheries or the representations of sustainable food in the media. Citizens, entrepreneurs, researchers, elected officials, restaurateurs but also artists, will share their experiences and explore the levers to be activated to give new impetus to our actions.

Take part in the 5th Sustainable Food Meetings on September 16, 2025

The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation is committed to profoundly transforming agricultural and food systems so that they are more ecological, supportive and equitable, while encouraging essential democratic debate. True to our approach, we will ensure a balanced representation of the actors so that these Meetings are a space conducive to synergies and fruitful exchanges.

Under the mischievous gaze of a clown analyst and with the help of actors from the economic, associative, academic, media, artistic and political worlds, we will invest, through round tables in plenary sessions and focus sessions, the levers that we can mobilize to continue and amplify the transformation of our agricultural and food systems
