See you on 11/03 for the 1st Télérama X Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation meeting

Télérama and the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation are organizing their first round table on what has become an urgent necessity in a world that is becoming increasingly polarized: building a society together. This meeting is in line with our podcasts, Les voix de l’art citoyen (Voices of Citizen Art), which take us deep into the heart of cultural projects that are revitalizing territories, recreating links between residents and giving citizens a key role. Citizen art, a vector of dialogue and trust

French society is undermined by multiple fractures (economic, cultural, geographical, etc.), which are reflected in identity tensions, a loss of confidence in institutions, the questioning of the basis of republican values, and the fear of the other. Hence the need to recreate dialogue, social ties, commonality, mutual trust.

Culture has this power. On the condition that no one is forgotten, that we create common imaginations, new narratives that are in touch with the reality of the time. Provided also that each person is considered as the bearer of a cultural identity and, as such, that he is a cultural actor in his or her own right. This is the philosophy of the Carasso Foundation, the one that guides most of the projects it supports, and that Télérama shares.

To discuss this subject, which has rarely been so topical, we brought together around the same table the leaders and actors of two of these projects: Amanda Crabtree and Sylvie Robert, as well as the writer Emmanuel Ruben.
