The Food For Good Challenge competition opens its doors
We are pleased to announce that we are a partner of the Food For Good Challenge. The third edition of the FAMAE Foundation’s international competition has opened its doors.
After two editions on the themes of water and waste, this year’s competition focuses on the theme of food. Through the Sustainable Food axis of our Foundation, it is a partner in this initiative.
The objective of the competition: to develop innovative and concrete solutions, from field to plate, for a healthy, sustainable and balanced diet, for everyone, everywhere in the world.
The prize of the competition is €2,000,000. This is funding to help the applicant move from idea to final product, and to raise awareness of the final product.
It is aimed at everyone, in particular the world of teaching and research, civil society, social entrepreneurs and associations.
As part of this competition, the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation will award two prizes, of €20,000 each, to reward two projects of general interest, one in France and one in Spain. The two winners will be selected from among the candidates from each country in the spring of 2020 during the open competition process.
This competition is built on three food axes: production, processing and logistics, and consumption.
Applications are open from 14 November 2019 to 14 February 2020, the analysis of the projects and the selection of the finalist will take place in spring 2020 and the award ceremony will take place in May 2020.
