Socially engaged art
La Bulle, located within the Aiguilles-Queyras Hospital Complex, invites residents, healthcare providers, and local residents to gather in a “third place” designed to foster social interaction and knowledge-sharing, with the aim of building a vibrant local community through artistic creation. The project spans three spaces: a community café, the park, and the courtyard, which are gradually transformed by seven artists each year: an architectural portico by Barreau Charbonnet, a vegetable garden by the Artistes arboricoles, tableware by Lucie Malbéqui, murals by Studio Muro, and bas-reliefs by Tiphaine Calmettes.
Bringing together the village school and daycare center, La Bulle unites generations around the values of environmentalism, solidarity, and openness to others and to the local community.
