Farms of the Future

The CARE project, led by Fermes d’avenir, is part of an effort to transform agricultural accounting practices, as the hidden costs of our agriculture and food system—including water purification and healthcare—are not factored into market pricing. Using the CARE method, Fermes d’avenir proposes developing a business accounting system that incorporates these hidden costs into farm accounting, in order to reflect the true cost of their production.
