Local Right to Food Alliances

Local Alliances for the Right to Food bring together several organizations that have been working for years to ensure dignified access to sustainable food. Secours Catholique, the Civam Network, Vrac, Action Against Hunger, Ugess, Altaa, and Solidarité Paysans are thus joining forces at the local level. Building on this experience, this collective aims to strengthen mobilization across the entire country—both in mainland France and in the overseas territories—around issues of agricultural and food insecurity, health, and biodiversity. Among its initiatives are raising awareness among decision-makers, sharing resources, and organizing debates and events to encourage engagement. The Alliances draw on both scientific expertise and the experiences of those directly affected.
