Sustainable food
The National Union of Municipal Social Action Centers (UNCCAS) is leading a project aimed at supporting the evolution of food assistance policies. Currently the primary form of voluntary assistance provided by Municipal Social Action Centers and Intermunicipal Social Action Centers, this initiative is shifting toward a broader goal: ensuring access to healthy and sustainable food for all.
Building on the momentum gained since the health crisis and following the municipal elections, UNCCAS aims to support its 4,300 member organizations in this transition.
The project is organized around three pillars: identifying needs and prioritizing actions, raising awareness and training elected officials and staff, and facilitating the implementation of local projects that promote sustainable access to food.
