Art to come: grants and residencies to imagine possible futures
What is Art to Come?
Art to Come reflects the commitment of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation to the artistic fabric and its ability to open horizons in a context of uncertainty. The program is aimed at artists who face the challenges of the present and who explore different ways of inhabiting reality. It is designed and developed together with Ane Rodríguez Armendáriz, Soledad Gutiérrez and Violeta Janeiro, within the framework of the Foundation’s Citizen Art axis.
Our Programs
Programs for artists are articulated as a framework to support processes that need time, resources, and enabling contexts. Its central objective is to sustain creative processes, link them with specific communities and territories and open them up to citizens through public activities. To this end, two complementary lines of work are activated: the Aid Programme, which operates in a distributed manner throughout the territory, and the Residency Programme, which takes place at Infinito Delicias, in Madrid.
Aid program
The main objective of the aid programme is to support and care for the artistic fabric, paying special attention to work processes, understood as a tool for social transformation. Projects are selected through an annual open call.
Residency Program
The residency programme opens up a workspace designed to strengthen the relationship and collaboration between artists, the Foundation and other agents. The residencies are accompanied by a programme of activities that feeds the lines of research and gives visibility to the work processes.
