Marie-Stéphane Maradeix concludes her time at the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, which begins a process of renewal
Marie-Stéphane Maradeix, General Delegate of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation since 3 October 2011, will cease her duties on 21 July 2023.
“After twelve exciting years as general delegate of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, I have decided to leave my position to dedicate myself fully to personal projects from which I hope to be able to transmit everything I have learned during more than 35 years in the sector of philanthropy and the general interest”.

As a spokesperson for the Foundation, Marie-Stéphane has played a pivotal role in the philanthropic ecosystem, focusing on issues such as aligning the Foundation’s investment strategy with its patronage mission, impact investing, strategic philanthropy, and climate urgency.

The baton will be taken by two new positions, a delegate general for France and his namesake for Spain, who will make their debut in their respective functions during the first half of September this year. Both, as well as the director of el17 – Casa de las Alianzas , an innovative and supportive real estate project located in the Delicias neighbourhood of Madrid, will report directly to the Foundation’s Executive Committee, made up of Marina Nahmias, Jacques Nahmias and Philippe-Loïc Jacob.
Throughout the summer, we will have the opportunity to share the profiles of the people who will be in charge of directing the teams of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation from now on.
