Greenup. Plant ecophysiology and awareness for the conservation of native forests

A cultural and interdisciplinary project to explore plant ecophysiology and its contribution to the conservation of native forests and biodiversity in Galicia and Portugal. Reverdecer part of the analysis of how plants interact with their environment and respond to environmental factors, including the effects of climate change and recent fires, to make this knowledge accessible to different audiences. The initiative combines scientific research, art and informative activities aimed at generating understanding about plant sensitivity and promoting creative approaches to relationship with the territory. Designed from the Art Centre of the María José Jove Foundation, the project organises meetings, conferences, experimental laboratories and educational actions in collaboration with entities such as the Guisamo Agroforestry Training and Experimentation Centre of the Galician Food Quality Agency, aimed at students, researchers and interested citizens. Reverdecer is funded by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation through the Composing Knowledge to Imagine and Build Sustainable Futures program.
