Perceptometers

The project is an investigation that seeks to find new ways to show what art education really brings to school. Perceptometers develops qualitative indicators that help describe experiences and learning that traditional measurements often overlook. It is based on the idea that artistic practices activate capacities such as creativity, critical thinking and the way of relating to the environment; and it proposes to connect these capacities with what the school curriculum expects. The initiative was born in 2020 under the direction of Cristina Alonso and Silvina Martínez and has the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within its Citizen Art axis.
