Description

Food is a determinant of the health of people and the planet. It is also an extraordinary engine of transformation that can contribute to addressing some of the most important challenges facing society: climate emergency, social justice and rural depopulation.

Fostering the transformative nature of food requires the application of more sustainable practices from farm to sea. The many successful initiatives in the sustainable food sector in Spain show that it is a real option. To accelerate its development and achieve a profound transformation, the sector needs to address two main challenges: the leap in scale and the increase in its visibility to gain legitimacy.

With this call, the Foundation seeks precisely to facilitate this leap in scale of agroecological and local food, through the support of projects of shared workshops, community kitchens and/or collective logistics and distribution initiatives in Spain.

How to participate?

This call is aimed at organisations whose headquarters are located in Spain and whose action, for this project, is carried out in Spain. If this is the case, we invite you to read the Terms and Conditions of the call“, which can be downloaded below.

Applications will be submitted exclusively online from 2 March to 27 April at the link “Send your application”.
