Ecosystem of the Community Arts of Catalonia

To strengthen the community arts sector in Catalonia. That is the objective of the project promoted by the Artibarri network, which brings together entities and professionals who use art as a tool for social participation in educational, cultural and community environments. With the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, the initiative seeks to improve the professional recognition of these practices and generate tools that allow a better understanding of their social and cultural impact. The project is articulated in three lines of work: a mapping of the community arts ecosystem, the organization of meetings and festivals that connect artists, educators and social agents, and the development of indicators and proposals for a public-community framework that facilitate their recognition in cultural policies.
