Sustainable food
The organization promotes various initiatives in the Valencian territory aimed at strengthening the local agri-food system. These include the Circular Economy of Olives project, which studies the use of alperujo (a by-product of olive oil) to supplement the feeding of ruminant cattle, and Rincón Impulsa, focused on the agroecological transition of the Rincón de Ademuz region. The group also develops training and knowledge transfer actions on local productive sectors such as wine, oil, citrus fruits or truffles. These initiatives have the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within its Sustainable Food axis and are connected to the Terralimenta program, which accompanies several Local Action Groups in the development of strategies towards territorialized agri-food systems.
