Sustainable food
Project that promotes a plan to strengthen the production and consumption of local food in Segovia. The initiative promotes the recovery of the agricultural green belt, the development of short circuits between producers and restaurants and support for youth agri-food entrepreneurship. It also promotes tools to identify and make local production visible, such as catalogs of organic producers in the province. This food strategy in Segovia is developed through a participatory process that brings together producers, hospitality, commerce, public administrations and civil society. The process was accompanied by the Entretanto Foundation and has the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within its 2020 territorialized food systems program.
