Music and stage for the development of Xamfrà

A community art education project that uses music and the performing arts to strengthen bonds, open spaces for coexistence and guarantee access to cultural practice in Barcelona’s Raval. Xamfrà works with children, young people and families through workshops, stable groups and shared creation processes that connect artistic training, inclusion and neighborhood life. Promoted by L’ARC Taller de Música Fundación Privada, the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation supported this initiative in the Resonancias call, focused on the social opening of music education in Spain. His career has received, among other public recognitions, the 2020 National Culture Award and the 2006 City of Barcelona Education Award.
