Governance
How we organize ourselves
Our binational character pays tribute to the Franco-Spanish origin of the Carasso family and guides the way of deciding and working. We operate with shared objectives in Spain and France to promote sustainable food and art with a civic vocation, attentive to the particularities of each territory. Continuous exchange between teams promotes mutual learning and constructive cultural dialogue.

Bodies and functions
The board of directors is made up of the founding family and independent professionals from the business and public management fields. It meets four times a year. A delegated commission oversees the implementation of the agreements and good management. The operational structure is articulated in three directions: two in Spain and one in France. This model distributes responsibilities and strengthens controls. It also helps to ensure that decisions are made with criteria of general interest and proximity to the organisations and territories involved.
Plural and expert perspective
The executive committee convenes committees with experts in research, foresight, business, public sector and civil society, from agriculture, food, culture and art, education, social and health action, and investment. They participate in a personal capacity. They accompany the teams in the planning and monitoring of action plans, collaborate in working groups and can intervene in the selection of projects. Their diverse perspective provides rigor, evaluates risks and reinforces the transparency of the decision-making process.

Imagine a work meeting in which the first question is “who benefits from this decision today and in ten years’ time?”. That is our idea of governance, an ethical framework that orders priorities, demands evidence and preserves the common good. In practice, it is based on discipline and clear rules, with defined times to contrast hypotheses with data, deliberations that document reasons and alternatives, a clear separation between those who propose, those who decide and those who verify, and cycle closures that leave lessons and concrete commitments for the next step.
Annual reports and accounts
What we did, what we learned and what changes later. Since 2010, our activity reports and annual accounts have presented results, indicators and distribution of resources in Spain and France. They include evaluation methodology, learning, and next steps.
