Description

The Daniel Carasso Fellowship is an initiative to support scientific talent and systemic research in sustainable food in Spain. The grant is aimed at postdoctoral researchers, of any nationality and scientific discipline who wish to develop their research project at a Spanish university or research centre (public or private non-profit). The programme includes funding for the recruitment and development of the beneficiary’s research activity for a period of two years.

The selected people will also become part of the SABE Community (Evidence-Based Food Sustainability), an interdisciplinary network that promotes the transition to a more sustainable diet.

How to Participate

The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation invites consolidated researchers from Spanish universities or research centres (i.e., contract professor, tenured professor, full professor, tenured scientist or equivalent) to nominate candidates of their choice. Those who submit nominations undertake to provide the necessary means for the inclusion of the beneficiary in a research group.

The rules state that only one nomination may be submitted per nominator and that a candidate may not be nominated by more than one person. Self-nominations are not accepted.

The proposal can be submitted until March 10, 2025 from the online platform.
