What kind of entities does the Foundation support?
In Spain, the Foundation supports private or public entities of general interest. They can be associations, foundations, NGOs, public sector entities, public administrations at all levels (local, regional, provincial, etc.) and any structure of the social and solidarity economy.
In addition, in both France and Spain, the Foundation has developed an impact investing strategy in non-profit or for-profit entities. Through these impact investments, the Foundation can finance entities that work for a change in the economic model, as well as business projects that propose innovative solutions.
What kind of expenses does the Foundation finance?
Provided that the expenses are justified by the project, the Foundation can finance both equipment and small infrastructures, personnel costs, operating costs, management costs or structural strengthening costs.
Permanent staff costs (including permanent contracts) and permanent operating expenses (rent, etc.) of public bodies are not eligible.
In addition, depending on the needs identified and the requests of the entities responsible for the selected projects, the Foundation may offer additional structural support missions to the grant awarded to the project.
