The 2nd Sustainable Food Meetings: Sharing experiences, inspiring the transition
The Sustainable Food Meetings are back with a second edition that will take place at Ground Control (Paris 12) on January 29. An event with an extensive and atypical program that will bring together nearly 700 actors working towards more sustainable and diversified food systems to share experiences and inspire the transition.
In 2016, we launched the 1st Sustainable Food Meetings, the result of 5 years of commitment to a sustainable food transition. With this 2nd edition, we are renewing this meeting space to give a new impetus to exchanges between food actors, draw the lines of convergence and accelerate this transition together.
Acting together for more sustainable food systems
During the Meetings, we want above all to facilitate the emergence of such fundamental issues as food understood as a lever for the management of common goods or synergies between companies and civil society to generalize the transition, as well as those field initiatives that propose avant-garde solutions and multidisciplinary work inspired by diverse sources of knowledge.
We will also bear witness to our own learnings in relation to innovative food systems in the territories, which we have collected during a year of study in collaboration with a group of projects that the Foundation has supported both in France and in Spain.
Our intention with this event with an extensive and atypical program is to make visible what each family of actors can contribute to the transition, federate and promote collaborations. The event has been organized hand in hand with our collaborators: ADEME, AgroParisTech, the Unesco Chair of World Food, Montepellier SupAgro, INRA, the Universitat Politènica de València, the Banque des Territoires.
Invite curiosity and exploration
To share experiences and knowledge, the event is organised around four main processes: discover, understand, experiment and exchange.
We have decided to give more prominence to diverse and original formats (forum theatre, World Café, artistic and culinary experiences, etc.), conducive to exchanges and the discovery of specific initiatives, territorial processes, recent studies, etc.
Registration for the current 2019 edition of the Meetings has already closed.
