The allez meeting arrives! about itinerant practices and dispersed museums. Register!

From March 13 to 16, Allez! A meeting on travelling practices and dispersed museums, which we organise with the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona), a space where we can share and reflect on resources and tools that allow art education and culture to go beyond their usual places.

Why an expanded Art Education?

Whether they take the form of pedagogical suitcases, museums and mobile theatres, mail art projects, digital applications and platforms, kits and games, we have been supporting since 2015, through the call entitled Expanded artistic education in Spain and Outils innovants pour une mobilité de l’éducation artistique in France, collectives and institutions that put into circulation tools that contribute to democratising art and culture, detonating artistic and educational processes for all types of users, communities and contexts, outside the framework of an institution. Thus, projects that we finance in France and Spain will participate in the meeting, such as Echelle inconnue, Soundcool, Ersilia/Le Bal or The Cross Border Project.

Discover the program of the Meeting

The programme of activities, 100% free, consists of practical workshops carried out by different artists and groups, such as Laagencia, Luz Broto or Nicolas Floc’h; a conference and round tables with a more theoretical approach to these practices, with the participation of Ramón Parramon, María Acaso and Rufino Ferreras, among others; and a public and festive day with the presence and activation of some artefacts in the Plaça del Àngels and the atrium of the museum. At the same time, a set of artefacts will be put into practice in various schools and other spaces in the city of Barcelona, in order to deepen the research of these ways of doing things from practice.
Through this moment of intelligence and collective enjoyment we hope to bring to light a landscape of itinerant practices of which we have been discovering diversity and to which we see enormous potential.
