We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Food For Good Challenge in the third edition of this international competition of the FAMAE Foundation.

In its first edition, the contest focused on the theme of water, in the second, on waste. In this third edition, it will focus on food. Through our Foundation’s Sustainable Food line, we are naturally associated with this initiative.

The aim of the competition is to encourage the development of innovative and concrete solutions for healthy, sustainable and balanced food for everyone everywhere.
The prize of the competition is €2,000,000, funding that will help the candidate to move from the idea to the final product and to publicize the latter.
The competition is open to all types of profiles, with a special sensitivity for those emanating from the world of teaching and research, civil society, social entrepreneurship and solidarity in the third sector.

Within the framework of this contest, the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation will award two prizes of €20,000 each, as a distinction to two projects of general interest, one in France and the other in Spain. The two winners will be selected from each country’s candidates in spring 2020 during the open competition process.

The competition covers three axes of sustainable food: production, processing and logistics, and consumption.

Interested projects may be submitted from November 14, 2019 to February 14, 2020. The award ceremony will be held in May 2020.

FAMAE is an independent family foundation that finances projects that reduce our environmental footprint in the different areas of the circular economy.
