Agroecological Collection, Distribution and Transformation Center

The Association of Ecological Agricultural Production of Mallorca (APAEMA) is promoting the construction and start-up of a centre for the collection, distribution and transformation of organic and agroecological products in Mallorca. The new infrastructure will concentrate the logistics and production activity of the sector, and will house the two collective workshops of the entity (one for canning and the other for meat) together with the activity of the cooperative Pagesos Ecològics de Mallorca. The project, selected in the Del Campo a la Despensa 2023 call, responds to the need to strengthen local marketing and improve supply to consumer groups, shops, supermarkets, hotels and school canteens. The centre aims to consolidate the island’s organic production and facilitate its growth under sustainable conditions.
