Allez! Traveling practices and scattered museums

International seminar on expanded art education that brought together professionals from culture, education and creation at the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), from 13 to 16 March 2019. The aim was to work with mobile devices (pedagogical suitcases, travelling libraries or travelling cinemas) that move artistic mediation outside the museum. Promoted by MACBA and the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation in the area of Citizen Art, the meeting articulated workshops, working groups and conferences with more than 80 participants and presented more than 30 projects. It culminated with an open day in the museum square that brought together more than 1,300 people. Its objective: to study and share expanded artistic education tools that expand access to culture in the territory.
