Almazuela

The Spanish Federation of Education and Mediation Associations in Culture, Museums and Heritage (Almazuela) has been set up as a network that brings together initiatives and professional groups linked to art education, cultural mediation and heritage interpretation. Its creation in 2021 responded to the need to understand the situation of the sector more precisely and to collectively represent its interests before museums, public administrations, universities and cultural institutions. The federation promotes training, the exchange of knowledge and the professionalization of these practices, in addition to accompanying new associations in territories such as Aragon. The project has the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, as part of its commitment to citizen art, and brings together entities such as ACEP, AMECUM, AMUREM, AVALEM, TAULA and OndarHez.
