Almazuela

The project articulates a national network to strengthen education and cultural mediation in museums, culture and heritage. Established in 2021, Almazuela brings together professional associations from different territories with a common goal: to improve the representation of the sector, share knowledge, promote training and move towards more recognised working conditions. Entities such as ACEP, AMECUM, AMUREM, AVALEM, TAULA and OndarHez are part of it. The initiative acts as a space for dialogue with museums, universities, administrations and cultural institutions, and accompanies the creation of new associations in territories where there is still no professional structure. It has the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within its Citizen Art axis.
