Sustainable food
“BELARDI, collective meat processing centre” is the result of a process of collective reflection to address the problem of lack of profitability of extensive livestock farms in Orduña (Vizcaya). The project proposes the implementation of a meat processing centre to produce and market the products of livestock farmers, who until now sold the animals to intensive feedlots, promoting the relocation of the food system and the economic sustainability of these farms.
