Eat Local

To promote sustainable food in Alcorcón through participatory processes that allow us to rethink how food is produced, distributed and consumed in the municipality. That is the objective of Comer Local, a project that promotes shared workspaces between municipal administration, food professionals, social entities and citizens. The initiative organizes meetings, workshops and deliberative processes that facilitate the exchange of knowledge and the development of proposals to improve the local food system, with special attention to the participation of the school population. To this end, it seeks to involve the community in the definition of solutions that promote healthier eating and local consumption. The project has the participation of the Coglobal association and the Alcorcón City Council, with the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within the framework of its Sustainable Food axis.
