Ekoalde

A non-profit association created in 2018 by 66 organic producer and processing families in Navarre. From its collection centre in Noáin, Ekoalde organises the joint marketing of local organic food and facilitates access to professional markets. The project has been selected by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation as part of its support for initiatives that promote sustainable food systems KM Tierra Navarra. The aim is to strengthen the bank’s viability through improvements in financing, digitalisation and storage and distribution management. This evolution seeks to consolidate the organic farms in the territory, organize the supply and contribute to rural development through shared governance between producers and technical staff.
