Socially engaged art

Erro(re)tik

A project that Tabakalera develops a set of actions to incorporate cultural diversity, care and mental health into the operation of the institution. Erro(re)tik, a play on words between root and error in Basque, acts in three specific areas: team training, relations with communities and cultural programming, and affects both public programming and internal management and its collaborators. Through an internal training methodology, collective creation processes and public seminars, the initiative articulates a network between the Artaziak cooperative, the Why Not Foundation and Tabakalera’s Medialab and Mediation teams. The project was consolidated between 2020 and 2022 thanks to the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within its strategic axis of Citizen Art, which supports projects that incorporate cultural diversity in institutions and reinforce their social function.
