Greenup. Plant ecophysiology and awareness for the conservation of native forests

The project explores how plants respond to the conditions of their environment to bring scientific knowledge about the conservation of native forests in Galicia and Portugal closer to the public. Based on plant ecophysiology and awareness for the conservation of native forests, Reverdecer connects research, artistic creation and dissemination. The objective? To reflect on the loss of biodiversity, the effects of climate change and the recovery of ecosystems affected by fires. Promoted by the Art Centre of the María José Jove Foundation (FMJJ), it develops meetings, conferences, laboratories and educational actions aimed at students, the research community and citizens. It was selected in 2023 in the Compose Knowledge call, of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.
