Hazialdeko Workshop

The project focuses on promoting a collective model of production and marketing of pulses and other organic grains to supply local markets and collective catering through short marketing channels. In Hazialdeko, extensive crop producers from all over Navarre coordinate to jointly access post-harvest processing services and shared sales mechanisms, with the aim of placing organic lentils, chickpeas and cereals in local markets and establishing direct relationships with organic distributors and responsible consumption platforms. The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation supports this initiative through the call From the Field to the Pantry, aimed at promoting the common packaging phase. This support makes it possible to reduce costs and strengthen the presence of local organic grains in collective canteens and other sustainable food spaces.
