Sustainable food
The project promotes education in healthy and sustainable eating for young people in schools in Extremadura, Catalonia and Madrid. Its design comes from La Mesa, a collective innovation process promoted by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation that brought together more than 20 organizations to address food precariousness from multiple perspectives. Hippocrates trains young people to accompany their peers, as well as other educational agents, in the construction of skills, knowledge and attitudes that favor healthier, more sustainable and equitable eating practices. This phase of the project translates the solutions co-designed during the social lab into concrete interventions, with the intention of increasing social sensitivity towards decent and accessible food.
