Llanes, landscapes in folixa

The project explores new ways of designing and managing cultural policies in a rural and coastal municipality. Llanes, landscapes in folixa was born as an evolution of a previous initiative to promote citizen participation in public policies. Its objective is to lay the foundations of a contemporary, participatory and open cultural policy throughout the year. Selected in the first edition of the Alliances for a Cultural Democracy call (2020) of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, it received support to develop this process in a council of about 14,000 inhabitants, with a dispersed population and a strong link with the coast.
