MACBA-ExpressArt / The Right Hemisphere

Two educational projects that bring contemporary art closer to the classroom and link school work with the MACBA Collection. ExpressArt, aimed at infants and primary schools, offers materials to work on in class based on images, texts and objects. The right hemisphere, designed for secondary and high school, combines audiovisual resources, previous activities and a visit to the museum. Both initiatives are part of MACBA’s educational line and had the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation through the school scholarships promoted together with the museum. These grants facilitated free access to educational activities to preferential educational care centres and schools with economic limitations.
