Sustainable food
The project A fuego lento: diagnóstico participativo de cocinas comunitarias en clave de justicia alimentaria aims to map and rigorously analyse the experiences of community kitchens in Spain. Promoted by the Mensa Cívica association and beneficiary of the Foundation’s Universal Access to Healthy and Sustainable Food Program, the initiative aims to generate evidence that will strengthen the contribution of these kitchens to territorialized, equitable and sustainable food systems, as well as to consolidate their role in social cohesion and in the effective guarantee of the right to food.
