Mincha d’aquí

The distribution of local food in Aragon is organised in this project through the design of a shared logistics route that connects producing areas of Alto Aragón with points of consumption throughout the territory. The initiative works with sustainable agri-food productions and responds to the fragmentation of the sector, with the aim of improving distribution and facilitating the arrival of these products to local commerce, consumer groups and other sales channels. Mincha d’aquí (Eat from here inAragonese) is developed in two phases: the first identifies sustainable food projects in regions such as Jacetania, Alto Gállego, Sobrarbe and Somontano, draws up a map of producers and defines a joint strategy with the sector. The second phase launches logistical routes for collection and delivery, connects consumption networks and evaluates its extension to collective catering and the school environment through awareness-raising actions with Ampas. Promoted by CERAI together with an alliance of 19 organizations, the project is part of the Sustainable Food axis of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.
