Mumecu, cultural mediation and inclusive performing arts in Murcia

Cultural mediation in the performing arts in the Region of Murcia is the axis of Mumecu, which brings together cultural professionals, social entities and public institutions to share experiences and develop scenic projects with an inclusive purpose. The project creates work and meeting spaces between organisations that use theatre, dance and other performing arts to collaborate with social groups and expand access to culture. Mumecu is developed through three main actions: the organization of a professional seminar on cultural mediation in Murcia, the creation of a web platform that gathers and disseminates inclusive performing arts projects and the strengthening of collaboration networks between cultural institutions and third sector entities. The initiative is coordinated by the Acceso 44 platform and has the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within its Citizen Art axis, aimed at promote access to culture and cultural participation.
