Opera Shakespeare

School project of musical and scenic creation that took the CEIP José Bergamín de Boadilla del Monte to the universe of Shakespeare during the 2016-2017 academic year. The proposal articulated a musical in English with the participation of the educational center through script, interpretation, choir, orchestra, costumes, decoration and classroom work in different subjects. The process culminated on June 19, 2017 in the Municipal Auditorium, with a final performance in which 140 students participated. Opera Shakespeare was part of OIR, Children’s Orchestras Network, a network of children’s orchestras and choirs promoted by the Korikoko collective of creators and artists and developed with the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation within its Citizen Art axis.
