Sustainable food
The Pau Costa Foundation takes advantage of the synergies between the forestry and livestock sectors through prescribed grazing as a firefighting tool, while at the same time highlighting the products derived from this type of production system in the province of Girona. Through the articulation of a network of grazing areas, livestock farms and establishments, the project achieves a systemic impact on the entire value chain of meat and dairy products derived from extensive livestock farming.
