Weaving the pantry

Weaving the Pantry, a model of Territorialized Food Governance, Merindad de Sangüesa

Taking advantage of the considerable impact of the “alert on the depopulation of the rural world”, in 2016 the Cederna LAG set up the “Pyrenees Table”, a governance space whose mission is to relaunch the economic activity of the territory (50% of the autonomous community).

The project arises from the identification, during the Covid crisis, of food as a driver of development.

The idea is to carry out a diagnosis of the productive sector and articulate the short circuits around a logistics network for the distribution of local food in the territory and in the territory. Existing governance spaces will be adapted to include the food issue.
