Who are we?
A vision that brings art and food together
At the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, we’re working towards a future where art and food help transform society. We are a family foundation created in 2010 in homage to Daniel and Nina Carasso and sheltered by the Fondation de France. Since 2014, the Foundation has also been present in Spain, consolidating its binational identity, with a presence and action in both countries. We support people, organizations and institutions that create, research or innovate in our fields of action, and encourage networking for new ways of imagining tomorrow. Our mission is to contribute to the transition towards a fairer, more sustainable society, by promoting dialogue between culture, food and citizenship. We are convinced that the cross-fertilization of ideas and disciplines is the key to building a shared, hopeful future.

Daniel and Nina: Our Roots
Daniel Carasso and Nina Covo shared curiosity, rigor and a simple conviction: art nourishes the mind and food takes care of the body.
Their journeys have come together in a life project marked by openness, culture and commitment to others. From this story was born the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, driven by a Franco-Spanish perspective. Today, we pay tribute to them by supporting initiatives that promote sustainable food and civic art, for a fairer and more responsible society.
