Sustainable food
In El Royo (Soria), a rural project based on the agroecological production of berries and other forest resources is moving towards a structural change in the local economy. Under the umbrella of BosqueSoria, promoted by the community of producers organized in APROTER and supported by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, a community workshop is built and a logistics infrastructure with cold transport is designed to transform and market raspberries and other red fruits grown in the high mountains. The initiative takes advantage of land recovered on the slopes of Soria and seeks to give greater value to organic production and generate economic activity in an environment marked by depopulation.
