Art to Come 2024

Art to Come is a grant program of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation that is committed to strengthening the artistic fabric, in order to help us imagine new horizons in the face of the challenges of our society. In some of the artistic processes and imaginaries we find a regenerative power capable of impacting society: these grants want to contribute to promoting these changes. In the face of the discouragement that often characterizes our time, there are artists capable of showing other ways of inhabiting reality. Thus, their practices become one of the most powerful and inspiring tools for social transformation.

Arte por venir wants to support artists with this potential, promoting projects that need help to grow or unfold all their possibilities. The artistic fabric often lacks resources for artists in the development of their practices. To alleviate these shortcomings, public and private aid arises that, in addition to being insufficient, in many cases are subject to management requirements, deadlines and results that can hinder their effectiveness.

To this end, the Foundation presents grants that provide artists:

– Financial support (€20,000 or €25,000 in the case of groups).

-Accompaniment program carried out by a mentoring team made up of professionals who have been specifically selected for this work to generate community spaces between artists, the Foundation’s team, the artistic fabric and the mentoring team.

-Amplification of artistic practices through a communication and visibility program specifically designed to meet the needs of each process.
