15 years of the Foundation’s commitment in France
On December 15 we celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation in an evening that brought together collaborators, artists and friends. Inspired by the imaginary of the forest, a symbol of life, growth and the bonds that are woven over time, this celebration offered a multisensory and collective experience, marked by a program that paid tribute to both artists and projects that have received our support during this time.
Feeding the Body and Mind: An Ever-Evolving Mission
“To contribute to a better world by promoting a healthy diet that nourishes the body and by promoting arts and culture to nourish democracy and social ties”: this has been the mission of the Foundation for 15 years, as our president Marina Nahmias, daughter of Daniel and Nina Carasso, recalled in her welcoming remarks. “From the beginning, we had a strong intuition: art and food were at the center, not only in our family history, but also in each other’s lives.”
A family story that continues today with the evolution of governance: Laurence, daughter of Marina Nahmias, becomes vice-president of the Foundation. In addition, Philippe-Loïc Jacob, member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors, is the new Executive Vice-President.
For 15 years, we have been working to nourish the body and mind. And, if we have come this far, it is thanks to you. Thank you for your trust, your energy and your commitment. Let’s keep writing the future, together!

Citizen art and sustainable food at the heart of our commitment
Benoît Mounier, Director General of the Foundation for France, reviewed the priorities for the coming years and reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to the transition of agricultural and food systems “to make them fairer, more sustainable and respectful of people and ecosystems”. He then recalled the central role of art and culture as “forces of citizenship, critical thinking and collective emancipation”.
The celebration, conceived by artistic directors Anna Labouze and Keimis Henni around the imagery of the forests, paid tribute to several projects and artists supported by the Foundation, including the musician Stélios Lazarou, a former resident of Artagon Marseille, the choir director Eléonore Le Lamer, associated with the Rennes Opera, and guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas.
The event was also an opportunity to present Infinito Delicias, inaugurated on December 11 in Madrid. Open to everyone, this “third place” aims to welcome artists, kitchen and agricultural professionals, foundations, associations, companies and public institutions to exchange, experiment and create. It has a restaurant, coworking spaces, conference rooms, spaces dedicated to artistic residencies and urban gardens. This new building will also house the Spanish headquarters of the Foundation.
Thank you to all the artists and participants who made this anniversary evening possible
