Talent Resonances

Socio-musical project that opened free violin, choir, musical language and ensemble practice classes in public schools in Palma to bring classical music closer to primary and secondary school students during non-school hours. Resonancias de Talento articulated instrument loans, pedagogical concerts and performances open to the community in Son Canals, Rafal Nou and, further on, Es Vivero, with special attention to environments of greater inequality. Promoted by the Youth Orchestra of the Balearic Islands, the project linked the musical training of the students with the stage experience and also opened a space for artistic practice for young performers of the JOIB. The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation supported Talent Resonances within the framework of Citizen Art.
