Socially engaged art
Free music-social education programme that works with children and adolescents in Madrid through orchestral practice, choir, body expression, school support and psychosocial accompaniment. Promoted by the REDOMI Platform, it has been carrying out its activity since 2015 in Lavapiés and Arganzuela and has already passed through it more than 450 children and young people between 7 and 20 years old. Her proposal turns the artistic experience into a tool for learning, participation and community cohesion. In addition to artistic training, the project articulates its work around psychosocial accompaniment and the Study Classroom, a space for school support that reinforces work habits, educational monitoring and daily well-being. DaLaNota also displays concerts, meetings and open activities that connect learning with the neighbourhood and with the cultural life of the city. The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation supported him within the framework of its Citizen Art axis.
